Grandma’s Sugar (Super Soft)

This is our softest sugar gel and our absolute favorite. Mixed with “SUPER STRONG”, it can be adapted to any of the above situations (questions). It is particularly popular with the less hot-tempered sugar gel experts who work exclusively with gloves. The reason for this is that when working with gloves, the sugar gel hardly gets any moisture from the tightening hand and none from the working hand. So it needs to be “SUPER SOFT”. It remains soft for a long time, so mixing with water can be delayed for as long as possible.

Grandma’s Sugar Super Soft is the softest paste in our Swiss-made
range. The existing HR expert description calls it a favourite for
experienced sugar-gel professionals who work exclusively with gloves and
whose hands do not add excessive heat. Its very soft starting texture
allows flowing work but demands attentive control.

The vegan product is made from sugar, water and citric acid. It
should be prepared and used at a skin-comfortable temperature according

Why gloves matter with Super
Soft

Gloves create a barrier between the working hand and the paste.
According to the existing product guidance, this means the sugar gel
receives little moisture from the hand holding the skin and none
directly from the working hand. Under cool, dry and controlled
conditions, Super Soft can therefore remain soft and workable for a long
period.

Gloves do not remove heat from the process. A warm professional, a
warm treatment room or high humidity can still make Super Soft
increasingly difficult to control. The user must be able to recognise
this change early and adjust technique or consistency before the working
portion becomes unstable.

Suitable working conditions

Super Soft is most logical when several conditions favour a soft
paste:

• the user has a confident, efficient manual technique;
• suitable gloves are used;
• hand temperature is not exceptionally high;
• the treatment room is not excessively warm or humid;
• the working zone and amount of paste can be controlled.

Working with a very soft
sugar gel

Use a small, manageable portion. A very soft paste can spread
quickly, so large amounts are not automatically efficient. Maintain
correct skin tension and keep the working edge under control. If the
material begins to run, smear or pull unpredictably, stop rather than
forcing the same portion through the treatment.

Do not solve a control problem by repeatedly adding more Super Soft.
Review hand moisture, gloves, room climate, product amount and pace. In
many cases, mixing in a firmer consistency is the cleaner solution.

Blending Super Soft with
Super Strong

The original HR description specifically explains that Super Soft can
be combined with Super Strong. This pairing allows the working texture
to be adjusted across a wide range without abandoning the original
portion. It is particularly useful for professionals who understand how
small changes affect the paste.

Mix only a separate, clean working portion and add the firmer product
gradually. The ideal balance changes with season, room climate and user.
A blend that works on a cool winter morning may be too soft later in a
warm, humid room.

Regular or Strong can also provide intermediate firmness where their
product guidance permits a blend. The goal is not to create a fixed
recipe but a paste that remains controlled for the actual technique.

Reducing unnecessary
water adjustment

The existing expert text notes that Super Soft stays soft for a long
time and may delay any need to adjust a working portion with water. This
is useful because the main container must remain protected from water
and contamination.

Any advanced water-adjustment technique belongs only to a small,
separate working portion and should be performed exactly as taught.
Never introduce water into the stock container. When in doubt, choose a
suitable consistency or blend instead of improvising.

Hygiene and safe handling

Prepare clean, dry skin and use clean hands, suitable gloves and
clean tools. Dispense only the quantity required. A used working portion
is not returned to the original container.

Keep water, hair, skin particles and other contaminants away from the
stock product. Close the container after dispensing and store it as
stated on the label. Check the temperature before skin contact even when
the paste does not feel very warm in the container.

Do not use the product on open wounds, acute inflammation, sunburn or
visibly irritated skin. A professional treatment also requires clear
agreement about the area, appropriate positioning and correct skin
tension.
